Push Back Racking: Streamlined High-Density Storage


Maximizing warehouse space while maintaining easy access to inventory is a constant challenge. Push Back Racking provides an ideal solution, offering significantly higher storage density than selective pallet racking, with improved accessibility compared to drive-in systems.


How it Works:

Push Back racking functions on a "Last-In, First-Out" (LIFO) principle. Pallets slide on inclined rails mounted on wheeled carts positioned within each row. When loading, a forklift places a new pallet at the front of the row. This pallet gently *pushes back* the pallet(s) already loaded behind it. When unloading, the front pallet is removed, and the next pallet automatically rolls forward due to gravity, ready for the next retrieval. Multiple pallets can be stored on each rail-supported depth (typically 2 to 6 deep).
