Radio Shuttle Rack is a racking system with high density storage including racking and electrically powered pallet runners which works with forklifts. This high efficient storage solution provides a new option to maximum use of warehouse.
Opration Principle
| Loading | With the radio controller order, the pallet runner transports the pallet into the tunnel of racking system from the home position, then return for the next pallet |
| Picking | With the radio controller order, pallet runner carries pallets out of deep tunnel to home position for forklift to pick |
| Transferring | The pallet runner can be transferred to other tunnels by forklift. The quantity of pallet runners depends on the depth of tunnels, quantity of goods, throughput, load and pick frequency, etc. |
FILO: When the racking system has one passage way.
FIFO: Pallet runner have access to both ends of tunnels.
Advantages
l The storage density is much higher than the ordinary stacker warehouse, and a stacker can be combined with multiple shuttles to improve the efficiency of the operation.
