1. Manufacturing Process:
- Forming: The metal components of the racking system are shaped to the required specifications.
- Acid Washing/Sand Washing:These processes clean the metal surfaces, removing any impurities or residues that could affect the coating process.
- Phosphating: This step involves applying a phosphate coating to the metal, which enhances corrosion resistance and improves paint adhesion.
- Degreasing: Any remaining oils or greases are removed to ensure a clean surface for coating.
- Drying:The components are thoroughly dried to prepare them for the powder coating process.
- Powder Coating: A layer of powder paint is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat to form a durable, protective finish.
- Polymerizing: The final curing process ensures the powder coating is fully set and bonded to the metal surface.
2. Functionality:
- Roller Rail System: The racking system utilizes a series of inclined rails equipped with rollers. This design allows pallets to move smoothly under the influence of gravity.
- First In, Last Out (FILO): Items are loaded onto the racking system from the front and are also retrieved from the front. This means that the last pallet loaded is the first one to be accessed, making it ideal for inventory that does not require strict rotation.
- Gravity-Assisted Movement: The inclined design of the rails ensures that pallets automatically move forward when the front pallet is removed, making it easy to access the next pallet in line.
